I might as well post something about this here.

Well at D23 Expo Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts III then at E3 they announced it to the Americans.

Nothing special is happening that we know of. Other than its gonna be on PS4 and Xbox One?

*Sigh* Whatever. Hopefully the game would be good. We did see Sora pick up Aqua's keyblade at Destiny Islands. Annd thats it.

Annnd the rumors of a Star Wars world. Is gonna be true. Why i believe this? Because Disney bought Star Wars and Square did its thing again and said it to.

There has also been a confirmation of the gameplay being separated with adventures between Sora (Donald and Goofy) and Riku partnering with King Mickey. According to the storyline, Lea and Kairi are training with Master Yen Sid, and we should learn more about Lea's back story with this game as well. 

Square Enix has announced Star Wars (not Marvel) to be in KH3, but not a "part" of it. Same as Frozen and Toy Story. Meaning we might not get a Death Star World but a Lightsaber Keyblade you could purchase in the Moogle Shop like the custom keyblades you could buy in KH: 358/2 Days, and the possibility of appearing characters. 

Speaking of which... in KH: 358/2 Days you could collect/buy characters to play as during missions. Wouldn't it be cool if you could do the same in KH3? That way you could play as Lea, or Kairi, any Final Fantasy character, ect. 

According to the KH3 Press Release:

"Believing light and darkness must remain in balance, Master Xehanort seeks to spark war against the ‘tyranny of light’ to restore equilibrium.

In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, Sora, Donald and Goofy search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,” while King Mickey and Riku search for previous Keyblade wielders."

According to KH & FF Director Nomura:

The action's pretty frantic. The really bold action we've always had is getting even crazier. Kingdom Hearts III has three-person parties, but NPCs and other characters join the fight in each individual world, and the resulting action is really flashy and exciting. The enemy AI is a lot more intricate, too, and I think the gameplay will reflect that new dynamic balance. For example, there's a foe that's shaped like a vehicle, and Sora may jump on it and fly around; that's already implemented." Sora will gain the ability to change the shape of his Keyblade, much like Aqua's ability in Birth by Sleep.

-the combat in the game will be along the lines of the system seen in Kingdom Hearts II, with evolution similar to what was seen from Kingdom Hearts to Kingdom Hearts II. -The handheld games' combat was a place I could experiment and try new things, and that some of the well received additions may appear in Kingdom Hearts III. -Summoning will return, but in a different form and system than previous games. -Sora will be the main character to play as, but will look into having others be playable, such as King Mickey, if it fits in the context of the game. -Multiplayer is also being considered. -The gameplay would be closely tied to that in Dream Drop Distance.

the plot of the game will pick up "immediately after the events of Dream Drop Distance."

I hope this game is gonna be good, Square please don't ruin it! Fingers crossed!
