Seventh Journal Entry: Healing, or Masking? Hikaru Harada: Main character. She has lived on the streets of Twilight Town for most of her life (at least as much as she can remember). Hikaru was a thief using her keyblade Forgotten Memories until Masters Roxas and Sora took her in their care and trained her. Chaos: A mysterious boy wearing organization 13's old cloak whos lived with Master Eriquas as he trained. Very obidient and intelegent, anything beyond that seems to be a mystery. Hunter: A young girl the same age as Hikaru. Like a nobody she seemed to appear in Castle Oblivion with only foggy memories slowly coming back to her. Tough and sturdy she has great power and a temper to match, but becomes extremely weak when near pure darkness. Master Eriquas: A legend in keyblade masters, his age seems to be near Master Yen Sid's. His keyblades power reaches far beyond Masters Roxas and Sora's. Masters Roxas and Sora: Both reaching their age of 20s they have worked together ever since teenage years. Not a lot of people know this but Roxas is Sora's nobody. Faust: A mysterious boy at the age of 13. Now realizing he used to be part of Organization 13 even more questions surface, but questions can wait.
As we try to run through rooms we find ourselves opening another door. "I think this might be it." Chaos said as he opened it. We peak our heads through to see the roof of the castle. "Nope." I said. Everyone walks in and looks around. I though it was just like being up on the Twilight Tower, the hard winds, the sun, the great scenery. I took a mental note to come back here later. When everyone walked through the next door we realized it was just an empty room. Suddenly a gust of wind slams against us and closed the door. "No!" Faust said before opening the door again, only to see a wall. "Well that's just great..." Chaos mumbled. I look around and see the only thing in the room was an air vent. "It's not like we're trapped in here. It's just not as easy as walking." Chaos watched me walk towards a wall. "What do you have in mind?" "Crawling. Now Faust come here." I asked as I leaned my back against the wall and put my hands together. "I'm gonna prop you up and see if you can open that air vent." "Sure!" Faust said excitingly as he ran and jumped on my hands. When he had it open, I helped Faust get in. "Alright your turn." "No I'm pushing you up." Chaos demanded. I shake my head. "No way. You need to be up there to pull me up. Now, go." Chaos sighed but smiled and followed orders. When he was up there he pulled me up and we all crawled through until Faust yelled "It stops here!" "Then make an opening!" Chaos yelled before Faust started kicking and opening the air vent. When Faust had it open he jumped down. "Woah! Guys we're back where Hunter's at, but be careful it's a big drop!" Chaos was taking the careful thing way to seriously though. It was like he wasn't moving. So I shoved him. "Hey keep moving!" "Woah!" Chaos yelled as he fell out. When I looked down something happened to the floor. It just, wasn't there! It was just an empty void where Chaos would fall. I quickly jump out of the air vent head first to follow Chaos. When I grab Chaos' hand I summon my keyblade and hook it on the edge of the floor that existed. "Hikaru! Chaos!" Faust yelled as he ran over. I let out a sigh before looking down at Chaos, who was panting and tried to keep a grip on me. "Are you kidding me?" I laughed. "S-Shut up!" Chaos yelled at me before summoning his chains to help himself up. When Faust helped us up we realized the floor was back to normal. We all joined Hunter and layed on the floor. "R-Really Chaos, are y-you sure you weren't named, 'Chaos' before?" I breathed. Dramatically, Chaos raised his arm and pressed his finger against his lips and said, "Shhhh..." Everyone laughed. I pulled the magic book out from underneath my shirt. "Hey are you going to use this?" I hand the book over to Chaos. "Yeah. If I use it right it'll help us heal too." We all lean up to face Hunter who was still sleeping. Chaos opened the book and starts speaking in strange tongues of spells on Hunter and everyone else. When he was finished Hunter woke up. "Hey are you alright Hunter?" Chaos asked. Hunter looked at everyone puzzled but tired. "...My name isn't really Hunter. It's Korra." "Korra?" Faust mumbled. When Chaos picks up Korra she falls asleep again. "She's stable now so we need to take her to the clinic." Faust and I walk behind Chaos as he carried Korra. "Pst, hey, Hikaru." Faust whispered. "Yeah?" I whispered back. "You know how Chaos said this castle was alive somehow?" "Yes." "Well, what if we talked to the castle? Maybe it will like us better and take us strait to the clinic." I have to admit it wasn't a bad idea. As we walked I ran my hand against the wall of the hallway. Um...hey. If your really alive, could you take us to the clinic? Our friend is hurt. I asked in my head. As you wish. "Huh?" I stop walking and a door appears. "Hey Chaos this way!" "No...no, no, no! Not again!" Chaos yelled as he ran back only to see Faust and I already opened the door. Across the hall from the door was the clinic. "Thank you Castle Oblivion!" I yelled before we all ran inside. - A Half an Hour Later -
The Moogle Nurse and Master Eriquas come out of the room Korra's in. He looks at everyone and smiles. "Korra is doing well. It's a good thing you found the spell and used it, otherwise it would have taken her much longer to heal." Everyone sighed in relieve. "Can we go see her?" I asked. Master nods. "Yes but keep the noise down, she's still sleeping and needs her rest." Everyone walks into her room and see's she's still sleeping. We decide to stay with her until she woke up to see if she's okay. It was about two hours later when Faust couldn't stay awake any longer. I look away from the room's window to see Chaos leaning against the wall and Faust sitting down in a bed next to Korra's. I walk over and sit next to Faust. "We should take shifts, don't you think?" I asked him. Faust was so out of it. He nods and just plops his head on my lap. I smile when I realized he's already fell asleep. "It's weird." I mumbled. "Hm?" Chaos hummed. I start rubbing Faust's back to help him sleep. "It's weird. I'm not usually good with everyday emotions any normal person would feel. But this feeling I'm getting right now is more than caring, I can see it in my Master's eyes back at home. Maybe this is what it feels like when you have a little brother." Chaos smiles and nods, then eyes his necklace he put in Korra's hand earlier. Then she wakes up...screaming. I cover Faust's ears while Chaos ran over to her. "Hunter! Hunter stop it! What's wrong!?" Chaos grabs her arms to keep her from punching him. "Let me go! Leave me alone!" She notices the necklace in her hand and throws it. Chaos watched it hit a wall and shatter in pieces on the floor. "My name isn't Hunter, it's Korra! Now leave me alone!" "T-That was the last thing I had from my past..." Chaos mumbled. My eyes widen after seeing what I just saw. Korra just yelled again. "Well good!" I move Faust over so I could stand up. While Chaos tries to pick up every piece of his necklace I stand next to Korra's bedside, watching Korra put the blanket over her head. I pull the blanket off. "Hey!" She yelled. "Do you have any idea what you've done!?" I yelled. "Look at everyone! We're all beaten up because of protecting you and you go and do that!?" I point towards Chaos and her eyes follow. "Ow!" I hold my head up with my hand. I got a sharp pain in my head, but it faded away quickly. "Hikaru?" I didn't realize my scolding woke up Faust. I turn towards him. "I'm fine." "...I'm sorry." Korra mumbled. "We're fine Korra. However Chaos isn't." I told her. She slowly looked over Chaos. "Sorry I broke your necklace." Then she shoved the blanket back over her head. I walk over to Chaos who laid all the necklace pieces on a table. "Hey, did you get it all?" I asked. He was so mad he didn't acknowledge me or Korra. "...Hey do you still have that book?" No answer. "...It's full of advanced spells right? Maybe you can find a reverse spell to fix your necklace." He nods finally and pulls the book out to start looking for one. I made a fist when the pain in my head came back. I decide to leave the room, but Faust said "Hikaru are you okay?" when I closed the door. I noticed I was on the roof and sighed with relief. It was exactly where I wanted to be. "Thank you Castle Oblivion." I said as I sat down. - An Hour Later - I grab my head with both of my hands. The pain just gets worse! It's to the point where I'm starting to hear voices again. Hej.....f...fdmiodje. "Stop it!" mka-key-xevb. yevc-half-du! "Stop yelling! Please!" Hikaru. A woman's voice keeps mumbling in my head. I start grabbing my hair when a melody in her voice starts, I couldn't keep the tears in any longer. "Hikaru?" My eyes fly open. "Chaos!?" Chaos runs over to me and puts his necklace in his hands and holds mine. The pain immediately stops and I look up at him. "...What are you doing?" He sighs. "At least it works again. I came up here to check on you, glad I did." Chaos tries to slip the necklace in my hands but I stop him. "Hey wait a minute you need this." "I'll be fine, you need this more than I do." I couldn't argue. It was true. He gives me the necklace and flicks my head. "Oh- really!?" He just laughed as I chaised him off the roof. I guess I have another friend to look after. | |
