Eigth Journal Entry: First Boss
Hikaru Harada: Main character. She has lived on the streets of Twilight Town for most of her life (at least as much as she can remember). Hikaru was a thief using her keyblade Forgotten Memories until Masters Roxas and Sora took her in their care and trained her. Chaos: A mysterious boy wearing organization 13's old cloak whos lived with Master Eriquas as he trained. Very obidient and intelegent, and turns out to be very caring but really good at hiding his feelings. Korra: A young girl the same age as Hikaru. Like a nobody she seemed to appear in Castle Oblivion with only foggy memories slowly coming back to her. Tough and sturdy she has great power and a temper to match, but becomes extremely weak when near pure darkness. Master Eriquas: A legend in keyblade masters, his age seems to be near Master Yen Sid's. His keyblades power reaches far beyond Masters Roxas and Sora's. Masters Roxas and Sora: Both reaching their age of 20s they have worked together ever since teenage years. Not a lot of people know this but Roxas is Sora's nobody. Faust: A mysterious boy at the age of 13. Now realizing he used to be part of Organization 13 even more questions surface, but questions can wait. Daisuke (Cay): A young and ordanary man who lives in Twilight Town.
The day came when it was time to go on our first world mission at Twilight Town. As I got ready in my room, I kept replaying the things I've learned so far. Mumbling battle stratagies, students strengths and weaknesses, ect. I came out to the halls to see everyone else. "This will be a student only mission so I won't get involved, understand?" Master Eriquas asked. Everyone nods as master ends his little warning speach and leaves us with a corridor to Twilight Town. Faust asks me, "What if something goes wrong?" "...I'm sure this mission won't be hard. If anything bad would happen my masters would jump in and help." I said, keeping my excitment down as well. I don't know why but I've always loved fighting. As we walk through the corridor I think to myself, I wonder if I could stop by the house for a visit when the mission is over, then the mansion... When we walk out we're standing outside of the tunnles. "Hikaru don't you live here?" Chaos asked. I look at him. "Yes. My house is an apartment building a few blocks away." "Then you know the best spots to watch the city. Would you mind helping us out?" He asked. "Sure, I don't mind." I said before making a quick explaination on the city, where the posts are, and why. "Now this will be our first boss battle and if their anything like we've learned, they're big. So when you see anything let the closest person to your post know and investigate. And make sure your able to see or get to that person quickly if something goes wrong." So far everyone was clear on what to do. Faust would have an eye out for places near Sunset Hill, Chaos would be checking places out on the Clock Tower, and I would be scouting out the area. "What about me?" Asked Korra. "You will stay on the lower levels of the tower while I put Faust in position, after that I'll come get you and we'll walk to the forest, that's where I'm gonna leave you to stand guard while I check on the boys." Everyone agreed to the plan and starts putting it into motion. So far so good. I dropped off Faust by Sunset Hill and walked the way to the Train Station. When I get there Korra was gone. "...Are you kidding me?" I sighed. I look up and see a pair of feet dangling off the clock tower. I run up the stairs. Maybe Chaos knows where she went. I thought as I got to the platform. "Hey stranger." Chaos jumped and looked at me. "Oh, hey." I walk over towards him. "Did you see where Korra went?" "Yeah. She went off with a guy." "A guy? That's unlike her." Chaos nods. "He looked like one of the towns people so I figured it was alright." "I guess. I just hope she knows what she's doing." I said as I looked around. It's been a long time since I've been up here. Chaos and I looked at each other when we herd a loud bang off in the distance. "...That came from the mansion." Chaos stands up. "Didn't you say it was on the other side of town?" I cringe. "We'll never make it in time!" Chaos stood on the edge of the platform. "Point to where it is." I did so and he summoned a long enchanted chain towards where we needed to go. "Woah, didn't know you could do that." "First time for everything. Now hop on!" Chaos and I rode on the chain to the edge of the forest. When we got there we could sence darkness coming from the old mansion. We ran and soon found a huge lizard-like heartless boss already battling Korra. This young man ran towards us. "Are you guys Korra's friends!?" I raise my eyebrow but nod. "Okay, how can I help?" This must be the guy Korra ran off with, and obviously he didn't wield any weapon. Chaos ran ahead and starts helping Korra fight. I needed to make sure this guy wasn't involved with the fight. "Go find a boy named Faust and tell him to come here. He should be around Sunset Hill." "Okay!" The guy ran off into town and I jumped into battle.
At least fifteen minutes has gone by since I last saw that kid, and Faust hasn't turned up either. What if something happened to them? My thoughts were keeping me distracted from battle. "Hey Hikaru!" Chaos yelled. I looked up to see a punch come my way and dodged it. This thing was fast and really hard to land attacks. Chaos, Korra, and I were already getting tired of this game of miss and be missed. The boss looked over to Korra and tried to attack her by using its tail. She jumps to move out of its way but it shot some darkness at her in mid air. I ran to get her but I got knocked back into the trees by it's tail. Chaos was the only one battling at this point. I made myself stand up and look for Korra. When I found her a few feet away I ran to her. "How much darkness did you inhail?" I asked her. "A-A lot." Korra mumbled. Darkness starts steaming out of her skin but it wasn't doing it quick enough. I put my hand on her shoulder and start draining the darkness out of her and into me.
"You can do that?" My younger self asked Master Roxas. Roxas nods. "Yes but for you it can be dangerous." "Well how come?" I asked as Roxas bent over to get eye level with me. He smiles. "Because your special, and your heart is too. If you get to close to the darkness it could take you over, and you might not be able to control it." I remember feeling worried. "Will I fall to it like Master Riku did?" "No. I promise I'll make sure you'll never get close enough to fall."
My memory fades when Korra screams. "Look out!" The boss spat out darkness at us and by the time I looked up it was to late. It hit my back as I protected Korra, but I was still draining Korra's darkness so when the boss' darkness impacted me I obsorbed it. "T...To much!" I muttered as I felt the darkness take over my body. Chaos jumped away from the boss after trapping it with chains and starts casting a finishing blow. When he looks towards Korra and I a barrier covered him as chains began to appear. "What is she doing!?" He yelled at Korra. Korra stood up. "She's turning into her Anti-Form!" I was trapped in my own body. In my mind it was like I was chained to a wall and forced to watch what the darkness was forcing me to do. My Anti looked around and saw Korra. It hissed and raised it's claw at her. "No!" I yelled as I yanked on the chains. "Hikaru stop! Take control!" Korra yelled at me. The Anti froze but only for a moment for the chains to tighten. The Anti saw Chaos and pushed Korra away, knocking her over and hitting her head on a rock and becoming uncauntious. "Korra!" I yelled. I was helpless. The Anti ran to Chaos. "Hikaru, stop! Get out of here!" Chaos warned me but it didn't help. If anything the Anti ran faster to attack him. The Anti was so close to the barrier it could've touched it before a blast of light magic broke out.
I open my eyes. The boss is distroyed, Korra is still out, and I'm back in control. I'm so weak and dizzy though, I look down as I tried to keep myself from falling over. I look at Chaos in front of me lying on the floor, just stairing at me. I mumble, "I'm...sorry." I fall over and we both pass out.
Two older men walk towards the old mansion. They see the two students; Hikaru and Chaos, still out cold but not the one waking up by the trees, Korra. Faust and Cay rush into the sceen and see the two men picking up the students. Faust yells as Cay runs over by Korra, "What are you doing!?" Korra runs up and grabs the spiky brunet against a tree as Faust pushes the blonde over. Korra points her keyblade towards the brunets neck. "Who are you?!" The blonde looks at Faust, puzzled by the Organization XIII coat he's wearing. "Now take it easy, you don't want to fight us." Cay lowers Korra's weapon. "Yeah calm down, this is Master Sora." Sora smiles a cheesy smile. "Yeah we're the good guys, right Roxas?" Faust looked at Roxas and dropped his weapon. "Roxas?" | |
